I started LeaderSurf because I see the clear connection between learning to surf and becoming a better leader. Leadership starts with self-awareness and learning to surf requires making that connection between who you are and how you handle learning something new. Surfing is not easy and it requires that one embrace failure and awkwardness, two things that leaders are usually are not very good at.
